The Situation

We're experiencing record-high layoffs in 2026—with over 108,000 workers already laid off in January. Amazon, UPS, and Dow account for half of these cuts. Major tech and media companies like the Washington Post and Pinterest are slashing jobs while engaging in aggressive union-busting tactics. Laidoff workers are bearing the brunt of the corporate restructuring and AI-driven automation, but we don't have to face it alone.

Join Us

If you were recently laid off, if you are currently unemployed or anxious about future layoffs - or if you are a friend or family member standing in solidarity with laid-off workers - this call is for you. It's time to build community, share resources, and organize for the policy changes we urgently need.

This isn't just about surviving layoffs — it's about fighting for structural change. AI is reshaping our economy, and workers deserve to share in the prosperity, not just bear the costs.

Join us to build the power we need to win strategic campaigns on the state and federal levels, and ensure workers have a voice in shaping the future of work.
